Got my copy today. While it has 45 minutes of bonus plus the 1 hour plus documentary, you can't help feeling that there is more content coming in future special editions down the road. The one thing really missing here is a Commentary from JJ who has down these before aka Mission Impossible 3 with Tom Cruise himself. Either way a great package to add to the collection. The key word here is Juggernaut in the second paragraph. It even hasn't cleared a $100M in China yet which F7 did in the same amount of time. Like China remembering how bad Phantom Menace trilogy was which might have effected TFA, they probably remembered Man of Steel. They are not too forgiving it seems and easily hold a grudge, lol. How else do you explain "Mermaid" being the biggest money maker in China. While the environmental message was great and the villain found redemption, two cool plot points, the film wasn't all that. Not with 3 superheros fighting a bigger than life creature to the death.

Batman Vs Superman Box Office Weekend

That Radio show is coming this week as Promised! Everything related to the movie and DC.  Still gets a 3 out of 5, not a perfect film but love that third act.

Only $166M instead of $170M and now No. 7 down from 4. While this is still damn impressive in my book, lets be realistic here. These are 2 icons should have done better in the USA. A first time event and it does fall short. And throw Wonder Woman in there, who was no cameo and kick some major ass, and this should have been at least in the top 5 of all time. But at least it did huge World Wide at over $400M. Justice League here we go.

Burt Reynolds had the second biggest picture of the year after Star Wars in 1977. After that he started doing knockoffs. This was one of the better ones. Why it took so long after films like F7 is strange, but look at the comments as no one is asking for this. While the original was funny at the time, now its quite dated.

Another remake no one is asking for. Again with the massive CGI overload and "300" cash in which has been played out years ago. The original with Charlton Heston was the real deal no CG and real stuntmen doing all the action. So why remake this? Well they are dumping near the end of August so that tells that story. a daily basis

Nobody saw this coming. Wow, this is huge for an overrated movie. Yep I said it. While it's a cute who dunnit, it's really not all that. 3 out of 5. It reminds me of Little Red Riding Hood in "Hoodwink" very original in concept which I thought was more clever. While the sequel did match the first one, the original is still worth a watch. And yes I got the message and all that but after a while even that get tired quick. But I did love the Godfather sequence, now that was funny.

Nice art work all around. But I'm glad they decided not to have Han Solo with the beard. He's got grumpy look as it is. And let's not forget the promo clip for the Blu-ray release. So how many millions of copies is that going to sale. But there will be a problem with that. Everyone else coming out on BR is going to fall short in sales in comparison. Hell, Amazon is still backlogged with AMS3 in sales. They can't give that away.

The reason for Speilberg wanting this is his last couple of movies were threaten to be released on cable. The major one being "Lincoln". That was Sooooo close to being on Netflix. So what is wrong with this? Look at the Oscar nods, most of the those pictures did not clear the $100M mark. People could just wait for it on Redbox then cable. Only the big tentpole aka Star Wars might be cool to see at home but those are made for the big screen and that's the way fans want to see them. If a big tentpole movie sucks in that first weeekend nothing is going to save it and again, people will wait for home release. Good try but good luck.

Now that it's official TFA is the third biggest movie of all time with No. 2 highly unlikely, we have the release date with no less than 5 different packages to collect. Talk about milking a cash cow. While it has great features like the Full documentary and deleted scenes, having extra content only on the Target release is a real blow to the fans. Maybe an ultimate release down the line will have all the content in one package. I mean I really can't see the hard core fans going out of their way *cough cough* to collecting all of them.  As for me the first packaging is fine for me *cough cough cough*
Either way this will be a great  to add to the collection.

AS this article states, it will open as the fifth biggest superhero of all time at the boxoffice. Are you kidding me? This should be the biggest opening and it should be at least in the all time top 5 boxoffice crossing that $1Billion mark. Lets face it. These are the 2 biggest icons of all time including the Justice League setup with Wonder Woman. Anything less would be considered a disappointment. It might be too much to ask for but look at the others films especially Spiderman 3 and Iron Man 3. Even the die hards say those are overrated compare to what they made at the boxoffice.

One of my favorite actors of all time. Especially great being Clint Eastwood's right hand man in many of his movies. From his Bio he stated that Eastwood himself asked him so say his lines in Eiger Sanction as people didn't want to hear Eastwood speak as he was a man of action. As for the rest of the show Chris Rock struggle with the jokes, well he did walk a fine line without going over board as I mentioned on previous radio shows. How to not to offend while trying to make your point across. Tough position to be in.
How Stallone got dissed for Creed was a total ripoff. Over a theatre performer who's had barely enough screentime in his career. What bullshit.
And while I had no problem with Alica Vikander winning for Danish Girl , Kate Kinslet had the better performance in Steve Jobs. didn't even recognize here. So category was up for grabs. Thats fine.
Star Wars getting dissed for all the other awards was also bullshit. Not even one. No force here whatsoever.
And while I did pick Sam Jones Spectre song, it was crime after Lady Gaga did a Tour De Force on her performance. She sold it as an Oscar winning song. And the big tears came after "Writing on the Wall" won. Think about it. How many other cool Bond songs never won that were better. You can have your pick here. For me? Half the damn catalog was better than this B-side of a song.
But for me the highlights was my Minions (thats right I won't let it go) C3PO & Co., Toy Story and of course all those Mad Max wins. What a lovely Day indeed.
And the rest of the show? Too long and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......
Bonus: Again they screwed up "In Memory" leaving out Fish, Leatherface, Phantasm stars and the biggest shame Uggie the Dog from "The Artist" but they include a film Critic? WTF?!?!?

Before the mix reviews come in for B VS S and well knowing that this might not pass the $1 Billion mark, the studio is pushing this so fast to make anyone's head spin. And having MCU  breathing down their necks is not helping matters.

The ONE character that is not needed in this is Pepper Potts. A completely useless character. With all the Avengers fighting for screen time this is one that is not needed. Hopefully a camneo and be done with. But the screen shots do look cool.

One of the things I said  is  the writing and imagination on a small budget. While it states it won't be bigger, stingy studio bastards are like"why spend more money when its going to make shitload anyways" It could benefit a few bucks here and there to expand the story. It doesn't have to be Transformer billions. Just some chump change be nice. Like the credits read: ASSHATS.

Good for these guys. This has comparison video from the old and remasters of the film. Well the rumour is Disney will release the original (with Fox's blessing who still own those rights). Why? To make as much money possible while the property is hot. This new generation has never seen 1977 release on the big screen let alone the original master. Other words, KACHING !!!

Good and Bad.  First the Bad: Ryan Gosling has more screen time than Ford. Second bad: Gosling is in it. Third: Ford doesn't have enough screen time and Gosling is in it. Ok enough of that. The Good:
Oscar nominated Cinematgrapher Roger Deakins "Skyfall" is doing the camera work. Last but not least: "I have a bad feeling about this".

I guess you can never get enough of seeing LA and San Fran sinking into the ocean.  But this time it includes The Ring of Fire !!! (Dark ominous music plays here) which circles the Pacific Ocean. Never heard of it but who cares. Just sink everything as long as it looks cool. And how about a bigger budget this time. That way they can include Hawaii and Japan. It is the Pacific Ocean after all.

While Deadpool went with the R version and is politically incorrect there could never be a better time than remaking this one with the technology they have on on. The remakes from years ago just plain sucked. And with Corman producing and going to the original material this will be a hit on straight BR release. And this has always been one of my all time favorite Corman films. It was just plain funny for such a dark topic. Cheesy and fun for a subject that is so wrong.

Monkey see, monkey do. The geniuses at the studio of course now decide that Wolverine should get the R rating after Deadpool made a shitload of money. Will this help? Sure if you get the writers involved since the writing on the last 2 Wolverines sucked big time. And how about the Director and Producers? Remember what Deadpool said: Overpaid Tools and Asshats according to the credits.
It's all in the writing and then Hugh will be in good hands. Everyone now involved with that? Give them the walking papers cause it's going to suck like the last two.

Just make Bumblebee and friends and forget the rest of the Transformers. They were so overblown to begin with and never used properly to begin with. Half the time I couldn't tell them apart except for Prime. And get rid of writer Akiva Goldsman, he's always a hit and miss. Well mostly miss. But this is a good direction to go in. Let's see them screw this up.

IN "The Big Lobowski" Jeff Bridges 'The Dude' hated The Eagles.  Whether or not is besides the point. The man who wrote the best Eagles intro ever was not there. Without Felder there would not be Hotel California now considered a R & R classic of all time more than Peaceful Easy feeling. That whole intro verse section of music was written by Felder. Frey wrote the chorus, Henley the lyrics.  And not to invite him. Then of course firing him was not the brightest time in that Eagles period either.
