Weekend Box Office Wrap Up

New Radio show coming this week: Big movie review show plus working as a background actor on the new tv show 'Shades of Blue' with Jennifer Lopez and Ray Liotta.
Just last week they were talking about doing another Nightmare remake. They should just let it go and tryto come up with something new.  I remember seeing Last House on the Left which gave me nightmares for months when I was a kid. Saw that as a double feature with Don't Look in the Basement. More nightmares, lol. Luckily Nightmare series wasn't so bad after that. I included this article as at the bottom it list everyone who has past away this year. 75 and counting. Wow, that is a lot.
To be fair, this got dumped at the end of August, no publicity what so ever and Zac cannot open a movie. What did they expect? Straight Outta Compton No. 1 again. When all said and done this will clear $150M and more. And Ice Cube has the summer's final laugh. Cool.
So the marriage is on. That's nice. Who the heck cares? How about the Star Wars cameos? Who that going to be! That's we fans want to know. Talk about the wrong spoiler.
If it happens, it happens. But this is not the story. Read the comments and the hatred of Oprah! Talk about sinking the film before it even starts to shoot. She's playing a small role and people don't want to see the movie cause she's in it. I just don't get that.
Due to poor sales we not getting remasters of DS9 and Voyagers. Maybe if they didn't oveprice these box sets could of sale more of these. So we fans get disappointed from their greedyness. Corporate thinking at it's best.

Filmmaking 101: Editing Fear of the Walking Dead. Good article but no video.

Thursday's Movie News

New BTR Radio show now playing.: Star Wars and Trek talk with Ridley Scott News.

Saturday Update:
A lot from Twitter updates and other social networks all on one article. Pretty cool. Many in which I missed myself.
Well here comes the fall releases. AT least this looks like it will have more features than Avengers Ultron who are being cheap with only 45 minutes of goodies. Top 10 of all time and thats all we get?
China to the rescue as usual. But I would like for them to finish this trilogy then let Cameron takeover.

Friday Update:
If that name doesn't tell you what thatship is about then you don't the enemy to begin with. Gotta love it.

57 shots new and old. The little guy finally gets a cover. Can't wait for the full blown remote controlled aka R2D2
Again more people are putting thier 2 cents on this. Duh! That Imax does nail the figure down pretty much. but this whole planet has to be in Sync to have this beat Avatar. And it will come down to repeated performance. That will be the major factor and only that.
"In a galaxy far far away" Look at that, it was in our solar system all this time, lol. But something just doesn't feel right about this rover. Who knows what pictures this thing is taking that NASA is not telling us about.
Short but nice clip of seeeing Nimoy in that vulcan make up.
Not much to look at but it reminds me of the paparazzi across the street with huge telephoto lenses trying not to get caught sneaking these shots, lol. Just a set with green screen. This can be anything.
Well this was based on Star Trek to begin with so it be cool this will be on internet tv. Iwonder who the cast will be since everyone in this film are old already. Beside Weaver of course, she always looks good, besides she does movies as we waiting for Alien 5. Speaking of which....
Good the sooner the better so we can get Alien 5 going. Remember, even tho he's not directing A5 he is still and executive producer on the project with some sayon the proceedings. While nobody is asking for P2, we are looking forward A5 even to see how it's going to fit with the rest of the franchise.
Great movie even if Vin really doesn't say much but it is his voice. Old animation style but thisis really going to look great in blu-ray as previous versions were all grainy at best.

Wednesday's Movie News

New BTR show coming very soon. Star Wars and Music announcement special plus lots of reviews.
The disney Promo Machine is at full force here. Pun intended. eez this sounds more important than the movie. But then thats how Lucas managed to buy land to grow grapes to make expensive wind. He said himself it was the actions figures that brought him all that land. All I know is that Hasbro is bringing back the Mivro Machines series back. I still have my Hoth set from Empire. Aw the memories. I'll be posting those pictures soon by the way.
This is the deal that should guarantee for this film to break Jurassic Worlds record for the No. 3 spot of all time unless, like I said, it has to be Phantom Menace bad but with JJ directing and Kasdan writing how can they miss?
One problem with this. What happens ifthere's reshoots, where practically every moive nowadays has them? If that's the case then he will have to wear a wig after all.
2 outta Compton to star in Skull Island. Not bad, now its getting interesting. Plus one from Fantastic Four.
Take My Money! Sounds corny if your not a trekkie/trekker but ust the idea goin to an isalnd toget to all these festivies with the original cast is such a blast.
3 out of 5. Very different film indeed but damn interesting even through it does drag a bit in the middle before getting to the bum out ending. No spoilers but its about battle and like people die in those things, lol Cusack was good in this but check out his other film "Love and Mercy", 4 out of 5, in which he plays the elder music legend Brian Wilson from The Beach Boys. He was perfect and that and again Paul Giamatti playing a scumbag like he did in Straight Outta Compton playing the sleazy manager.
One of my favorite bands of all time. I remember seeing this film as a kid. wow 50 years went by fast.

Tuesday's Movie News

New BTR show coming this week
Take out Hunger Games and put in Peanuts. Runner ups: Hateful Eight. The Walk. eez not much left and what happened to the Oscar contenders. I dont recognized anything. Oh well last years Oscars sucked so who cares.
And people were saying that Zombies was getting to be old news. For me one Walking Dead is enough.
More teases for the movie. Now where is that Luke trailer for crying out loud?
Well at least we got a title which compares to Conquest and Battle in the original 5 part franchise.
Will they go to the original premise of a group of astronauts landing on earth to find the planet taken by apes? So far there's no hint except if the first movie of a mission launchby Nasa. So who knows as this pay homage to the original, this series is leading its own path.
Besides that Mario Movie done so long ago, we had Wreck it Ralph which proved you could have video games represented nicely on the big screen. Then of course we had Pixels with the budget going to Sandler and not the video game figures. This would be a crap shoot, but I wouldn't mind for them to give a try. Again it's up in the air with this.
Cute litel take off on the Star Wars parody but what a strange release date.

Monday's Box Office Wrap Up

New Blog Talk Radio show finally coming this week. Star Wars?trek and Summer wrap up.
Star Wars catalog link reposted again posted below as Bonus.
Now we have to wait for the director's cut that includes that beatdown Dr. Dre did on that female. Hopefully it won't be a deleted scenes section included on the br/dvd release but a full 3 hour cut.
Why not? They brought Chekov and Tuvok back for Star Trek Renegades. That's the new one that Tim Russ directed (Tuvok from Voyager) which was funded by Kickstarter. Admiral Cekov is 140 yrs old and yes that is Walter Keonig reprising the role. More on the radio show this week.
It figures but as the Compton film proved that there was so much to tell tht it had to be edited down, there is a bigger picture to tell from that era. I could see this work big time.
Funny !!! Scroll down to the very bottom and see how Sony did at the boxoffice. This article breaks down all the studios and how they did this summer. But that Sony, Ouch!
This should be interesting in seeing the cast from STTNG and how they aged. So far the show works, seeing Capt. Picard going nuts. Let's see if it gets funnier since Macfarlane is involved.
Remember Diesel walked away from the Fast Furious franchise after the first film  to do this and Paul Walker kept the franchise going. After xXx did ok but not compare to the FF franchise is when he returned to FF. SO..why return to this one? And what happened to Kojak? One thing for sure and you have to give him credit is that he's not sitting on his ass and collecting FF money. He's making one movie after another at such a pace. Good for him.
It' a shame this needs to depend on China to get the sequel going. Especially in the US nobody cared about Arnold coming back to an iconic character. First they should forget about the tv series then forget about the trilogy and just do one more just to wrap up the storyline. It's obvious nobody cares.
I like the subtitle Avengers 2.5. As soon as all the characters were announced I asked why call it Captain America and just call it Avengers Whatever.Butat least we're getting Spiderman where he belongs.
Is it me or are these filming fast?. As soon as these were announced already their finished and heading to post production work. These studios need these big hits to make that money and not taking their time with them.

I postd this on Thrusdays/Friday updated post. But in case you missed it. But where do they expect for you to put up this stuff. Addict? First trilogy. Basement? Second trilogy. Garage? Wife's car and she don't want to hear shit. Now what?

Thursday's Movie News

Due to tech problem new radio show postponed till Monday.

Saturday Update:
Well that settles that. Compton is No. 1 again. AndHitman is No. 4 for the weekend. And you wonder why I didn't post a poster of thatfilm, lol.
63 pages of the catalog on what's going to be release so far. Fall agenda: Clear shelf space and get a second job.

Friday Update:
Cool covers with the new cast. Like the article says whenare we going to see the new Luke?
Talk about geek heaven, both Star Wars and Star Trek news. Can't get enough. But boo the video as it was blocked because of copyrights. Scrooges.
George Miller of Mad Max? Hell no! He's got todo another sequel for Max. And didn't they skipped MOS 2 for thestart of Justice League. Make up your in guys! Oh I forgot again, Corporate thinking.

While Compton is passing the $100M mark, any other film coming out is not going to matter. WE got just a few weekends of Beach weather left and lets not forget JWorld is coming out again for a week for those repeaters.
Sounds like a cheap Saturday morning cartoon from the 1980's. But todays tech and the money that Jurassic World did, they can go back to this. Just the merchandising alone!
"It was the right decision to make the movie better." Now that sounds bad. How wonder they are postponing the release date. Not a good sign, Reminds of reshhots aka Fantastic Four and we know how that turned out.
Didn't he die? Oh I forgot, nobody dies in Sci-fi. Si the question is, how many characters are in this?
Maybe this is the reason they have a problem with this. It mightbe too convoluted and is too busy being a setup for Justice League and that usually turns into a mess in itself.
Didn't even see this coming. From the guys of Robot Chicken. But ain't this style of language and animation past it's time? Curious to see if the audience shows up for this one.

Note: Had a tech problem so a new Blog Talk Radio  will premiere tomorrow. Tune in tomorrow as todays blog will be updated tomorrow as usual.

Wednesday's Movie News

New Radio show tomorrow before the weekend is out.
I grew up with this so many memories here. Shereally added something with this custom and looking very hot on a motorcycle. And she almost got her own spinoff as Batgirl. On the Blu-ray Batman tv series '66 there is a 10 minute pilot for executives where she goes off against the Mothman, Batman and Robin make a quick cameo. But this was at the third season and ratings while starting to go downhill. Shame, we got to see her in her own series but at least we hvae the Batman tv series. And yes she did many others shows and movies, nothing can beat seeing here in that outfit. She even named her book "From Ballet to the Batcave andBeyond" and she was cool with it.
This has a gallery of 18 photos from =here career including a shot of her on Star Trek playing the Green Girl in the third season. Remember that one?
This article does a good job of breaking down the actual details included with the link provided of the original article. Fron what ti reads, its just much too cluttered. It would have been a mess. Again doesn't anyone read these scripts before green lighting the project to begin with. Meaning Pre-pre-production. How about reading the treatment first (outline wthout most of the dialogue).
Red flag! 3 writers and now another writer added? Too many cooks in the kitchen but at least they got themselves someone who knows about giant creatures roaming the earth.
I like the last line: Indiana Jones meets James Bond. Man, does producer Askarieh has it wrong. Speilberg got turned down to do a Bond flick. That's when Lucas told Speilberg, never mind those guys. We have our own Bond character. It was Lucas who invented Indy for Speilberg to direct. So this guy is producing Johnny Quest? Yikes. At least Rodriguez is directing this. He sounds like a die hard fan since he's going to base it on the original, something I grew up on. The new one sucks. And co=writer is Terry Rossio who has done Pirates and the original American Godzilla 1998: Godzilla vs. The Gryphon. A creature from outta space that morphs into different animals found here on earth. Yeah I know, where the heck is that film?

Tuesday's Movie News

New Radio show coming tomorrow. I moved that widget up by the way and added Soundcloud below the other radio widgets.
Now that the summer movie season is basically over, the networks are now pushing thier fall tv shows. And one of my favorites is raising the stakes with more villains on "Gotham". Some hate this show and I thought myself this would be a bomb, like where's the Batman? But this has a great cast and just so over the top that it's fun.
As you know Roger Corman owns the original title of The Fast and the Furious. Look it up on You Tube, The whole movie is there. Universal paid him to use the title but only the first movie. Vin explains this on the commentary for Furious 6 why each movie is titled different. So, after Fast 8 what other titles are they going to use. Well, that should be interesting.
Another hour that was cut? Then this should have been an HBO special of sorts. But this would be interesting to see more details on what went on behind the scenes especially the ending as it feel a bit rushed and a quick wrap up. Still worth it to see. Interesting note about speical features on br/vd dying out like the new Avengers Ultron with only 45 mins of features including. For a top ten movie of all time that's all we get?
Like I ssaid before, whatever it takes to get this right. The first two were total misfires.
Talk about deleted scenes. Why bother filming this then dropping it all together. No wonder the films is a mess. More on the radio. Way to much typing to be done here on what a rip off all this is.
Why are thye bothering for a film nodoby is asking for and delaying the film that everyone wants to see. Oh I forgot, corporate thinking. Never mind.
Just what we need, another retelling of Frankenstein. Only reason to see this is both McAvoy and Radcliffe sharing the screen together. But who knows, maybe the monster steals the movie.

Weekend Boxoffice and Disney Expo Wrap Up

New BTR coming this week: Disney and Star Wars talk. MNN Live now playing on Youtube.
Great Picture. Deserves the No. 1 spot. Rating 4 outta 5, lol. For me the best part was Paul Giamatti as the manager Jerry Heller and those business dealings with contracts and all. Some of which you never see in these kind of Bios.
So Trevorrow is going to wrap up the trilogy. What a gig! Where do you go from there? Well he still could do a Fast Furious picture like I mentioned before but really, how do you top Star Wars?
4 seperate videos whihc have highlights from the presentation. This page also have links that cover other events for the weekend. You can take it from here as there would be to many links to add here.
The best one is the last one which starts with Pirates then cuts into Star Wars in which Harrison Ford shows up! And he's been showing up to all these presentations. Remember way back when he didn't even want to be attached to Star Wars. Wow, that mouse really pays good it seems. But it's cool to see him to these after all these years.
9 minute video interview with JJ in which as usual doesn't say much about the movie itself, and the rest of the cast also get their chance.
There are really going all that on the attractions and expanding the other parks as well. But how much time do you need to cover all this? I doubt a weekend pass is going to cut it. I would need a week myself, who am I kidding. Guess all that Marvel money is keeping Disney happy. And the key word here is "Expanding" like getting the rights to rest of the Marvel titles. You hear that FOX?
$150 for the M Falcon. Really? Yeah.... time to start saving. But I gotta admit, these take a long time to put together. For those who can build these more power to you.But at least we get a look on some of the hardware before the movie comes at. First Order Snowspeeder caught my eye for sure.
That Paul Walker tribute was nice, and fans still haven't forgotten which was cool. And the rest, well I was going mostly..WHO?
Oscat talk already? Who would you vote for as host? So far it's Ellen then Neil Patrick. And the bottom are James Franco and Anne Hathaway. Ouch! More on the radio show.

Note: Wow, you've made it down here, cool. Please scroll down just a little bit more and on your right you'll see a new widget for my Soundcloud page. More music coming. Stay tune. This will coincide with that music show I've been promising for a while now. Very soon. Announcement here and on the radio show. Thanks everyone!

Thursday's Movie News

Live on tomorrow at 5pm.   New Blog Talk Radio show now playing: Filmmaking 101 and why F4 sucked. Wednesday's blog was posted very late yesterday. Please check that out in case you missed something. Thanks everyone.

Saturday Update:
That's a lot of people showing up in this movie. More the better. Of course this doesn't help F4 when Fox hears this kind of news. It really rubs in that they got such a failure on their hands.
At this point nobody cares. A total wipeout all around. Now is a just a matter of time for the studioto mak that announcement for F4. And Disney is patiently waiting, lol.

Friday update:
While the F4 Director got fired from both this and Star Wars, SW is still going ahead even with a schedule change. Disney don't care. Whatever it takes to keep these films going ahead and is better for us fans.
Hopefully this one will work having the Professor is a good angle, but then again.....

Video from the actresses and 28 picture slides. Pretty cool but about who is going to sing the new song is really pushing the curiosity. As the song usually sets up the tone for the movie. So close.
Good long interview but what a waste. Hardly no promotion on this movie, it should be another DOA. Another sign that the studio didn't want to waste money on promotion and advertising. Then why bother making it in the first place. Didn't anyone read the script?
They usually make a big anouncement when a film hits the $300M mark. Talk about jumping on the promo wagon. For a price tag like this you can't blame them. Take advantage of the fact tht other recent releases have been bombing across the board.
RE-releasing this again for one weekend. Well, Jworld is only $20M away from taking the No. 2 spot in all time domestic release. Maybe this will help. Really doesn't matter since it needs $500M to take over the No. 2 spot world wide. But it sure got me curious.
This article nails on what's wrong with the industry. In this case a movie made for all the wrong reasons. This is the article I was waiting for for the radio show: Filmmaking 101.
Oh hell no, let it go!

Wednesday's Movie News

Late Post. New BTR show coming tomorrow then Live on MNN on Saturday.
Another tease with pics but where is the new trailer? We still need to see the Luke and Leia like we did with Han Solo.
And this is going to go up against Star Wars. It's a Tarantino film and he's got his fans and this is an ultimnate film to see for Holidays but lets face it, even 007 Bond opens 6 weeks ahead of this to make it's out of the way for SW. And Alvin and the Chipmunks is opening after this? Who's the scrooge who scheduled that?
And the House of Mouse keeps laughing, harder and harder.......but man that is one heck of a fast turn around.
Trailer included. Butwhy didthey wait so long? Makes sense, this being of the most popular films for Disney. They also got Duck Tales again for 2017. Tangled, another one underrated is being looked at.
Thye have so much to work with instead of blowing $200M on Tomorrowland this is the direction they should work onand waiting for other studios to srew up on their superhero franchises.
Awww, well he did ive a long time according to doggy years, aka 100 human. He was one of the bet things in the movie which did get an Oscar for Best Picture which everyone at the time thought was overrated. But no one had a problem with Crash...which reminds me...
No shit. Total crap. Social experiment? It's more like how people in real life don't act like that. The worst picture ever to win the Oscar let alone even get nominated. Boyhood is my second worst to get nominated. At least they also mentioned Slumdog, Out of Africa, Chicago and the list goes on and on.

Tuesday's Movie News

New shows coming tomorrow while I wait until the trashing is done on F4. Filmaking 101.
Check out the bottom of the article in which it asks: Which one you are looking forward to? Are you kidding me? We can't get enough. Look how long it takes for these to come out in between revising this franchise. Compare to STar Wars were something is always being made aka Clones Wars while we waited for Parts 7,8,9. But this time we are getting 2 back to back with the best rivals including Mothra, Rodan and King G. Bring it on!
Cool breakdown on the scenes while also mentioning the 3 major action scenes that were cut. What the heck was the studio thinking. Why did they even bother with this. Way to many questions nobody cares about.
They didn't even wait for the next weekend. The body is not even cold and alrady ther're burying it, lol. This article includes a video on the making of which includes scenes not in the movie including the car. Sure looks like the chopped off quite a bit here. How wonder they did reshoots.
Why? For anyone who has the trilogy on Blu-ray there is more than enough on the making of.
But it looks like this one concentrates on the legacy and the "fan culture" over the years. Fine if it includes some more behind the scenes band new interviews but how about including this in the re-lease of the blu-ray instead of a seperate disc.

Weekends Box Office Wrap Up

New Blot Talk Radio show coming this week with an MNN show this Saturday. 1994 Roger Corman's Fantastic Four Trailer and Full Movie from Youtube  included bottom of blog.
See how fast Fox changed it's tune that they are going to backup Deadpool with a sequel instead. See article below. Even though IM Rogue won the No. 1 spot it was still below $40M needed to be a big hit.  All across the board the movies in the top 10 did below than average. And poor Shuan the Sheep got no love. But will have a great life at home with repeated viewings and have a cut following. F4? Beer coasters if the sell any br/dvds that is.
SO: Who's fault is it? Studio interference for sure. But a director with a few films under his belt wouldn't have hurt. More on the radio show this week..
Talk about the final nail in the coffin for F4. More like a slap in the face, lol. The worst thing about this is that there are now 4 actors out of franchise which would have been a big Kaching! to their careers.
And it still hasn't open in China! Yikes! How much more can this thing make? See, this what other studios look at and gets them mad when their projects fail. Especially when you look at how much it cost to make. Wow, that is a lot of profit.
A new trilogy with Ben? I just loved the idea that he won with Argo when going against all odds. But they sure aren't waiting to bring Batman for another trilogy. Whether you like Affleck or not, what I find interesting is what happen to Snyder? Is he still doing those Justice League movies? Not one mention of him in the article. Interesting.
Very short but still getting chills on this. So close yet so far. At least we got Bond to look forward to before then.
The style looks like JJ's meaning live on the set action without those green screens. And Edwards did a great job on bringing back Godzilla (even tho not enough screen time for th big guy) looks like this is in good hands.
Finally this is filming in November with most of the cast even if they haven't signed on yet, but read the bottom of the article about Hellboy and Blu-rays sales. About how platform has changed. It used to dvd/br sales as I mentioned on my last radio show and now that is changing with VOD and other ways to se movies. This is happening so fast.
Another way too short clip but a damn good tease. Can't wait to see this as a series. The original was a classic and this came close as a remake with Arnold Terminator himself. While that would have been interesting with remakes nowadays kind of sucking I'm glad this is no HBO.
It would have been nice to see Simmons and Keaton in this but Jackson is in way too many things now but so far it's a good cast. But what eeryone is looking forward to is the big Kong himself.

No budget cheesy fun, at least I didn't fall asleep on this. Check out the music of the trailer. That's James Horner soundtrack from Battle Beyond the Stars Corman's take on Star Wars. Yep that movie is also on youtube.
PS the film is on the dark side (no pun intended) as to hide the low budget and bad SFX. I have the canadian 1994 dvd release (bootleg) I brought at a convention and that is only slightly brighter (by seeing the damn thing in total darkness, lol) Enjoy.

Thursday's Movie News

New Blog Talk Radio Show posted today: MI5 vs. F4. No other shows for the weekend.
Please see bonus link posted on the bottom of this blog for one of shows topic.

Saturday Update:
F4 Mini review: 1 out of 5. BORING! Only near the end for 20 minutes or so is when F4 fight Doom is where the action happens. I  agree with Rotten Tomatoes, this is a complete waste of time. Actually the first two F4 with Jessica Alba were better than this. Yep it's that bad.
MI Rogue should win this weekend. The big shame is Shaun the Sheep. Why did the studio not promote this and let it die instead?  Hopefully this will find a audience on home release.

Friday Update:
Talk about fae. Now F4 has nothing to do with X-Men. That's not what Bryan Singer said.
Anyways screw this: MI5, 4 out of 5. Seen it. Like animation? Shaun the Sheep, 4 out of 5. Already very underrated at the boxoffice. Fans of Wallace & Gromit will love it. Look for movieeaster eggs, yep Silence of the Lambs (get it, sheep?) and more are in there.
Another Agents of Shield for tv? Fox is holding to dear life on this franchise. Afraid of the mouse are we? Since knowing that F4 is pretty much DOA, the studio is going to put all their efforts into this. But what does that mean for the future if X-Men movies?
Wow, this studio just doesn't get it do they? Is anyone asking for these remakes and sequels? That's what half this list is. Well at least Spiderman is not on this list. Enough of that nonsense.
Here is an update on the characters that Marvel doesn't own........yet! Mainly Fox has the ig ones with Sony hanging on a thread to keep Spiderman. Soon enough disney will own everything. It's the other studio egos in denial that keeps Disney from owning these franchises.
As I mentioned be fore I'm a fan of this series but turning down Kevin Bacon who starred in the original doesn't make sense especially since he's the one who wants to dfo it. The mentality of studios. But they want to reboot Freddy again..see below.
Why? Only if Robert Englund returns can they pull this off. He's kinda old but with the makeup he can pull it off. Give him a good paycheck and he'll do it. He's worth it. If they can pay Adam Sandler $20M for making garbage don't you think Englund is worth the price to reboot the franchise the right way?
There's a link on the bottom of the aricle that takes you to some footage and behind the scenes on the movie. But it figures he gave it a 10 year block. Lewis is 89 years old and he figures he be gone by then that way he wouldn't hear the backlash on the film.
How the heck did a children's book get turned into a 3 part over 2 hour each movie to begin with then wind up with a rated R re-released? Oh yeah sales on the Blu-rays (See below link) The Hobbit should have been one three hour movie and left it at that.

Bonus repeated to tie in with the new radio show posted today:
Check out No. 17, Spiderman and compare those numbers to the top of the charts to prove my point.
Check out this years so far. Look at No.4, Hobbit. With those numbers how wonder the want you to to double dip wth the rated R versions.

PS I;m still working on that music show as I;m adding some new things to it.
The live radio show is cancelled for this weekend as I try to fix the sound on that.
But this weeks new Blog Radio is playing now until a new one next week.
Thanks for listening everyone.

Wednesday's Movie News

2 New shows coming before the end of the week.
Wow, this is hard ccore. Only thing missing is teaming up with The Punisher, if your going to go with the Rating R code. Bt it also reminds me of Kick Ass with the cynical humor which also a good thing. While I admit I haven't been posting many things related to Deadpool since I wanted to wait for the final trailer to see how this looks. Well I have to admit, this looks great.
And that's why I posted Deadpool pic instead of F4. Looks like a DOA for the weekend. That's why Brian Singer he said they might bring F4 into the X-Men just to hold on to that franchise before the rights can b taken over by Disney. Cruise Control will rake it up the boxoffice. And deserves it, smart funnyand great action.
What made the first tv show was all the guests showing up that usually would do a show like that.
That's wha made it campy fun. But they have to do better than Reese Witherspoon and Imagine Dragons if they want this show to be a hit. Behind the scenes is cool but need those cameos.
And about that Kermit and Miss Piggy breakup, it's good for the ratings. Shame tho, they do make a cute couple.
Total diss. The videogame industry is more ruthless than the movie industry? Expecially witha great actor like Dinklage this is a big surprise. But my question is when they hired him, didn't know that maybe he wasn't the right one to begin with?
Yep, Abrams a fanboy at heart as the hardcore really hated that idea with chlorian crap. Less said the better.
Another cash in but this time Disney is doing it. That Rat! But did anyone notice besides Yoda, they are all villians. And why is a Stormtrooper on the cover of Empire when it should be Yoda as that is the first time he was introduced back in the day as the trainer for Luke. As for Attack Clones they should have had Count Dooku. But still they look cool, better than the new James Bond re-hash. See below...
These look horrible compare to the Star Wars Steelbooks. While SW do announce they have the same old features from before, at least you know what you're getting. These Bond releases do not mention anything about any features what so ever. Another quick cash in ripoff.

Tuesday's Movie News

2 new Radio shows will be posted this week. F4: DOA?
MI Rogue is going to do great for the rest of the month since there's no competition. F4 is going to do Ant-Man numbers but worse. Good but not great.  And that other Spy movie. Why go for a second rate title (unless you remember the original tv seires from the 1960's) when you have a given like MI Franchise. Read the article below and it gets to the point.
Straight to the point and it even shows how Actor Teller is trying to cover it up with the mixed
reviews. Yep the beach and barbecue sounds really good now for the month.
Dinos, Vin, Minions are the new record holders for the $1B mark. Even tho Minions STILL hasn't open up in China yet. Yikes! or should I say BANANAS! MUCHO BANANAS!!! Even better all 3 are in my top 5 for the year. What are the others? O the Radio Show I will tell, lol.
A no brainer here. At this point which I said quite a few times on the shows, t just a matter of taking out Titanic and how close to Avatar. If it Phantom Menace bad, not so close. But either way there's nothing besides James Bond and since that has an early start in November it should be out of the way for Star Wars to take it all since there's no competition besides Films lookinf for Oscar bids and most never make past $100m anyways.
So Simon has MI, Trek franchises in his corner. So called Cameo in Star Wars. Not to bad.  As far as this list goes which is basically a no brainer with everyone it seems like he has  Phantom and Clones reversed? But
Great behind the scene making of in what I think is the best part of the movie. This whole act in the first half of the movie had the tense edge of your seat action. While many are saying McQuarrie shold direct the next Jurassic World,  I would like to see him direct the Fast & Furious franchise. He would bring that whole franchise up a notch. More on the Radio show. PS after the video there's another making of "End of the Tour" with Jesse Eisenberg and Jason Segal.
Ming the Merciless joins the cast! Along with Ian Mcshane, best known as Blackbeard in the Pirates franchise,  this will make the next season even more exciting unless they plan another banquet dinner and kill off the whole town this time with a Black Death Speed Metal playing in the background.
Funny video with the characters. While it looks interesting most people will have Star Wars on thier minds. And if notice I haven't posted anything to do with Prometheus as many of us where not asking for a sequel. Why they bothered?

Note: 2 new radio shows will posted this week with a full hour with Talk Show on Saturday taking requests. More details will be posted here on Friday since there will be no MNN Live show this weekend.

Weekend Box Office Wrap Up

MNN Live now playing on YouTube. See Video below. New radio shows coming this week.
Great summer fun. 4 out of 5. The Cruise is back. Everyone ignored all those bad writeups and went to enjoy the movie. And all those stunts that he did himself paid off. See article below. Full review on a new BTR show coming this week.
You couldn't pay me enough. That's what stuntmen are for. Why take a job away from them? I'll be in my trailer if you need me.
The movie just opened up and already we got deleted scene for the Blu-ray edition. Well it usually happens.
Peggs role really stretch out for MI5, so good for him. He was great in the role. While we're still not exactly what the cameo he has is, he does have a point about waiting. It is only 4 months away and it feels like yesterday that they were going to do a 7th Star Wars film. Time has move way to fast. But heck the sooner the better anyways.
It's Kevin trying to get away! Cute. 2 pics included. And so far Minions is up to $850M World Wide and still has a few countries to open. $1B looks good. Not bad for a $85M to make flick.
Well the most obvious was Dr. Wu who left with the brief case with Dino DNA so he ca go to the highest bidder. And with so many Billionaires on the planet today thiscan become a hobby for their ego. So now we can have Dinos all over the planet. At least we're not stuck on a island again.
New Toho Godzilla will resemble the the original 1954 design. Good move. He was scary when first seeing this back in the 1970's on the family black and white TV. Yep good ole B&W.
What else is new? If you don't have the guywho did the Lego Movie this should suck like Pixels.
I'm still waiting for Candyland Board Game, the rated NC-17 version "No one gets out Alive!"
